A care manager and a professional in a NurseFlex uniform reviewing work together.

Find answers to common questions

NurseFlex is a premium healthcare workforce management platform by NurseFlex Ltd. We connect healthcare professionals with organisations through smart shift matching, automated compliance, digital timesheets, and integrated training.

Creating a healthcare professional account and using the work platform does not carry a worker subscription fee. NurseFlex Academy training is a separate purchase. Suitable existing external certificates can be submitted for review. Eligible Nurseflex staffing candidates can be reimbursed for their training fees after completing 20 qualifying Nurseflex shifts. Organisations can choose from the plans shown on our Pricing page.

Once registered and compliance-verified, you'll see available shifts in your dashboard matched to your skills, qualifications, and location. Apply for an available shift and follow its status in your booking centre. A standard application requires provider approval; instant booking is only available where explicitly enabled for an eligible favourite worker. Treat a shift as confirmed only when its booking status says so. In-app notices and email delivery may take time; SMS is not promised.

Your Key Information Document, engagement terms and assignment details explain the agreed pay cycle, deductions and timesheet process. Submit hours promptly and raise discrepancies with support. Payment for hours worked is not conditional on the hirer paying NurseFlex or authorising a timesheet; disputed hours must be investigated promptly.

You'll need: identity and right-to-work evidence, the appropriate DBS information, references and training. Registered roles also require the relevant professional registration. Requirements and review of existing certificates depend on the role and assignment; registration alone does not authorise deployment.

Once your provider account and facility access are approved, open Staffing requests, enter the role, dates, times, breaks, agreed rates and requirements, and submit for operations review. Published shifts appear in the booking centre for applicant review. Posting a request does not guarantee cover.

Provider access is assigned to specific approved facilities. Ask NurseFlex to configure authorised users and locations for your rollout; access to one facility does not grant access to another. Multi-site requirements and reporting are agreed during onboarding.

Your accepted provider agreement sets the invoicing cycle, agreed rates, applicable VAT treatment, payment terms and dispute process. Review timesheets promptly and contact support about discrepancies. Dashboard availability depends on your approved account and configured service.

Cancellation notice and any provider charges are set out in your accepted agreement and assignment details. Report changes promptly; do not assume a booking is cancelled until the status is confirmed. See our Terms for full details.

NurseFlex collects compliance evidence digitally, tracks expiry dates, and routes records through a documented review workflow. External checks, including DBS, right to work and professional registration, are only marked verified once the relevant evidence or connected provider result has been reviewed. You'll receive alerts before a recorded document expires.

Read our Privacy Policy. for how data is used and how to exercise your rights. Access controls and security measures do not amount to an external compliance certification. Do not assume all processing takes place exclusively in the UK.
